Decreased cycle times. Critical fault analysis. Reduced failures.

DEX’s roots are based on repairing high-tech equipment. The company was founded with the premise that product repair could be accomplished most efficiently by the collaboration of engineers and technicians.

Our highly qualified team of engineers are dedicated to supporting your systems and products, quickly providing processes that support new and emerging technologies.

Revolutionary systems

Failure analysis. Internal checklists. Technology and systems. Q and A checks. Root cause analysis. Burn-ins. Data wipes. DEX technicians use specially-designed computers at each work station to communicate up-to-date, real time, repair status information within DEX. Additionally, these computers are used for the training and viewing of all records of repair—decreasing repair time and speeding the re-deployment of products to your customers.

Outsourcing some engineering services allows our customers and OEMs to focus on their core competencies. Additionally, engineers working on advanced redesigns can make recommendations for design changes in product development.

DEX’s capabilities include:

Mechanical Engineers
DEX’s mechanical engineers have the capability to provide a high level of mechanical problem resolution using DEX’s complete mechanical model shop. With a full-scale machine shop, many of the internally designed and built test systems are fabricated within the DEX operation. Additionally, the mechanical engineers provide failure analysis of field return units and mechanical products, offering feedback to OEMs and clients who then implement in their next generation processes.

Electrical Engineers
DEX’s staff of engineers creates, designs and develops processes for high-tech products. They also provide failure analysis of return units and quality improvement suggestions to OEMs. Additionally, they study (and modify, if necessary) process development and documentation development for all new products brought to DEX for repair and other service processes.

Process Engineers
DEX’s process engineers are responsible for studying product flows for efficiency and throughput capabilities. Additionally, they develop new processes, project engineering and troubleshooting, focusing on design, operation, and maintenance.

Quality Engineers
DEX’s quality engineers audit all operations and deploy the Six Sigma quality procedures. DEX performs post-production testing with the goal of preventing potential issues, enabling improvement of customer satisfaction levels.

Reverse Engineering
DEX provides reverse engineering solutions for products when component parts required for repair are not readily available or when documentation does not exist to create a repair process.
