DEX Receives ISO 9001:2000 Certification

Camarillo, CA - January 9, 2008 - DEX® (Data Exchange Corporation), a leading supply chain solutions provider for high-tech industries, announced today that DEX’s northeast facility located in Lockbourne, Ohio received International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2000 certification, which provides a set of standardized requirements for a quality management system. With this certification in place, DEX can further maintain its commitment to quality practices and customer satisfaction, ensuring that clients continue to receive top-quality results.

The requirements of DEX’s ISO 9001:2000 certification covers a wide range of elements, including top management commitment to quality, client focus, adequacy of resources, employee competence, process management (for production, service delivery, and relevant administrative and support processes), quality planning, product design, and review of incoming orders. It also includes monitoring and measurement of processes and products, calibration of measuring equipment, processes to resolve customer complaints, corrective/preventive actions, and a requirement to drive continual improvement of the Quality Management System.
